WIOA State Plan Open for Public Comment

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) requires that each state review their State Plans every two years and update the plans based on changes in the labor market, economic conditions, and other factors. Included within this plan is information related to Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), an Tennessee program providing employment rehabilitation to people with disabilities. You can read more about DRT's Client Assistance Program (CAP) which works with clients of VR. 

Anyone can submit public comments on all or a portion of the plan. Comments can be submitted on the State's website and must be submitted by Monday, March 5, 2018 by 5 pm CST.
